Your Pre-Treatment Checklist

COCON Appointments

Arrival and Setup:

  • Please be ready 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. This allows us to set up promptly and begin on time. Note that if we encounter delays, the treatment duration may need to be adjusted accordingly.
  • Your therapist will be accompanied by our Operations Team on arrival, to support with transporting the equipment to your place of choice! They will return after your treatment to support with the pick-up!

Space Preparation:

Ensure there is a space of approximately 2mx2m for the massage table. For wooden floors and carpets, consider using a protective shield to safeguard against potential oil drops or scratches.

Environment:

Create a comfortable environment at home to enhance your relaxation experience.

  • Temperature: Ensure your home is at a comfortable temperature to fully relax (we recommend 20ºC);
  • Lighting and Ambiance: Consider soft lighting and some candles to enhance the experience.
  • Music: We bring the music with us, but if you have your own preferences you can feel free to setup your preferred relaxation music in advance.

Massages

30 Minutes before your massage:

  • Prepare a place to accommodate the massage table, leaving enough space for the therapist to move around it.
  • Take a hot shower to relax your muscles and get blood circulation going.
  • Stay hydrated! We recommend having a glass of water before your treatment starts.
  • Ensure a comfortable temperature that allows you to fully relax.

After your treatment: At the end of your session, your massage therapist will give you time and privacy to get dressed.

Facials

30 minutes before your facial:

  • Please ensure enough space by the head for the therapist to sit near where your face rests.
  • Please take the time to thoroughly remove all make-up at least 30 minutes before your treatment.
  • Consider the lighting – the brighter the better!

After your treatment: To take the most out of the nourishing facial treatment you received, please avoid washing your face immediately after your treatment. If you had your treatment at night, you can sleep without washing your face. To help your skin set properly, avoid touching it or sleeping directly on it for 12 hours after your treatment.

Safety & Attire

Attire:

Treatments will be performed in your underwear. Our policy is strict, and our therapist may refuse service if an inadequate choice of clothing is presented which may cause an uncomfortable situation.

Our therapist will give you the privacy to change into your underwear, and to place your body under the sheets / towels. Our therapists are trained to properly drape your body to protect your modesty and theirs.

Customer Safety:

Practitioner and customer safety are our top priorities. COCON’s services are strictly professional. Please treat your practitioner with kindness and respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards suggestive or inappropriate behaviour.

Payment & Cancellation Policies

Payment Policy

We only accept treatments with payment in advance - multiple payment options are provided. Please note that we do not accept cash payments.

Tipping

Tipping is optional.

Tipping our team is a great way to show your gratitude if you are exceptionally happy with your experience. You may tip our therapists directly with cash, or feel free to ask our Customer Care team for a pay-by-link - 100% of your tips are transferred to your therapist.

Cancellation/Change Policy:

Grace Period: Cancel within 15 minutes of booking without any charge.

Within 24 Hours: 50% refund via gift card or refund.

More than 24 Hours: 100% refund via gift card or refund.

PRICES AND OPENING HOURS

Treatments can be booked between start-time 10:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. end-time, 7 days a week

COCON currently only provides services within the Ring in Amsterdam. Travel fees may apply for distances over 15 minutes cycling from Kinkerstraat 70A, based on location.
